Horizon Europe, report on Italian SME participation

On 24 October 2024, an online session will take place to present the APRE report entitled “The participation of Italian SMEs in Horizon Europe calls”. During this side event of the 2024 APRE Annual Conference, the results of a study carried out by APRE will be presented. The study aimed at analysing the submissions to European calls during the first 3 years of the Horizon Europe in order to highlight Research and Innovation areas of greater interest for Italian small-and medium-sized (SMEs).

The report analysed the sectors in which SMEs obtained better performances and the amounts of funds received by Italian companies under these calls to provide precious insights to address future strategies and measures for this type of companies which are the backbone of national entrepreneurship.

The final part of the event will include a debate among national experts of this sector. It will be possible to access and download the full report on the event day.
