From 14 to 18 October, Milan will host the 75th edition of the International Astronautical Congress (IAC2024), the most important global event in the Space sector organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), which currently includes 73 Member States represented by all the main space agencies, firms, research centres, universities, companies, associations, and museums.

Italian high-school students are invited to submit projects that use space technology to promote Earth sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The 10 best proposals will receive a scholarship of €5,000 to attend the event in Milan, which includes educational meetings with experts from ASI and the aerospace sector at the IAC2024 exhibition area, where they will also have the opportunity to present their ideas.

Proposals can be submitted to ASI via e-mail before 24:00 of 20 May 2024 to the following certified e-mail (PEC) address: asi@asi.postacert.it to the attention of “Responsabile del Procedimento, dr.ssa Germana Galoforo, Responsabile Ufficio Education ASI”. The e-mail subject should include the following details:

“Partecipazione Call for Ideas IAC2024 – Name of the Institution – Name of the proposing team – City of origin”
