Research Perspectives on the Health Impacts of Climate Change
On February 19 and 20 February 2024, the European Commission is organizing the “Research Perspectives on the Health Impacts of Climate Change” conference that will be held in Brussels, at the Charlemagne building – Rue de la Loi 170, to discuss the connections between climate change and health: two current themes that lead research priorities, challenges and new needs.
Moreover, during the conference, researchers, politicians and stakeholders will promote the launch of a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) that will identify the priority themes for climate change and health research in the years to come.
The event will feature several sessions categorized under several themes:
Theme 1: Short and long-term impacts of climate change
Theme 2: Climate change in the context of other environmental stressors
Theme 3: Climate change and health sector
Theme 4: A global research agenda on climate change and health
