CNR, international workshop on Digital Twin for advanced modelling of biological systems
On 9 and 10 December 2024, the Aula Marconi of the premises of the National Research Council (in P.le Aldo Moro 7, Rome), will host the international workshop entitled “Digital Twin for Advanced Biological System Modeling: Integrating In-Silico and Organs-on-Chip Approaches“.
The event will involve internationally of renowned experts who will discuss innovative strategies, critical challenges and future perspectives in the emerging sector of digital twins; for CNR, the Institute for photonics and nanotechnologies (CNR-IFN) and the Institute for applied mathematics “Mauro Picone” (CNR-IAC).
The workshop, organized in collaboration with the Politecnico di Torino, Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), Ypatia Laboratory for Mathematical Sciences (LYSM), and the D3-4Health project under the activities of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) project – NextGenerationEU, funded by the European Union, aims at developing innovative solutions for human health, by exploiting the potential of digital technologies and advanced biological models.
During the closing round table, guidelines and priorities for the future development of digital twins in biological systems will be outlined.
